Symptoms include

• Dark urine 
• Fever
• Loss of appetite
• Pain in abdomen
• Weakness
• Jaundice (yellowing of skin and eyes

Prevention comprises of 

• Practicing safe sex with condom
• Getting vaccinated with Hepatitis B vaccine
• Avoiding sharing of syringes and needles
